The camaraderie of schooling came back to live gradually as
students of the
Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) in Ogba, Lagos resumed
academic activities after weeks of staying at home to enjoy their holidays.
The holiday was supposed to be short-lived but was extended a week longer, affording the students to stay longer than the initial date of resumption.Although, the monotechnic which open it door for students seeking knowledge in the media sector witnessed low turnout in some classes like the Post Graduate Diploma, PGD and Higher National Diploma, HND which were begging for attendance.
But was contrary to students doing their National Diploma, ND who came in their numbers.
Lectures in classes were conducted!!
Yuletide seasons on general opinion seem to be a period of fanfares, but it was not good moment for Ajose Oluwaferanmi, a ND2 student who said she battled with her health during her holiday.

"I spent my holiday in the hospital, I was admitted for 4 week. So I was not feeling fine, that was how I spent my holiday.
Her expectations in 2022, she said: "Everything to sha be good. I aim high".
To Bamidele Bukola in HND 1, matric no: HNMC/21/025, who usually smiles to the bank every week before the break for yuletide season expressed dissatisfaction over the low patronage of her consumable items she sells to students in school.
"My Christmas was just there, it was difficult for my business because my target audiences are in school." She said.
However, she was optimistic that this resumption which resuscitate her business.
"Now that I have resumed, the business is really growing." She said.
Olatunji Temitope, a PGD student quizzed that his holiday experience was not eventful, adding that his resolution in 2022 is to do better than the previous year.
"My holiday was uneventful but my expectation in my resolution is achieve more and win more." He said.
